6th Halal Certification Bodies Convention

JAKIM was organizing a 6th Halal Certification Bodies Convention on 30th - 31th March 2015 in Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC), Putrajaya, Malaysia. 73 JAKIM Certified International Certification Bodies have been invited to the event. They are from Australia, Austria, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States of America (USA), Vietnam and Morocco.

The objectives of this convention:

1) To enhance the understanding of Foreign Halal Certification Bodies (FHCB) in relation to the implementation of Malaysia Halal Standards and Procedures

2) To serve as a platform for experience and knowledge sharing as well as to systematically develop the capacity of JAKIM's Recognized Halal Certification Bodies

3) To boost the Halal Certification globally

4) To solve the recognition-related Halal issues among the FHCB
